She is certified by the NCBTMB and is a Professional Level member of the AMTA. She graduated in August 2003 from the Brenneke School of Massage, a national leader in massage education. Tara began her private practice in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood in January of 2004. Her original massage therapy training includes coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, pregnancy massage, First Aid/CPR, HIV/AIDS Education, and massage theory and practice. Recent continuing education includes Structural Analysis, Structural Decompression and Advanced Myofascial Techniques. Tara grew up in the Midwest and has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Film Studies from the University of Illinois.
